Today was a RariJack episode I believe! So what better time to upload a "Welcome Back" gift for my friend WhiteDiamonds
, hmm?
This was a bit of an experiment to be honest, going back to black outlines and a more "cartoony" style, if that makes sense. It's always fun to try something different!
So, context! I quite like (outright love) a number of anime shows, and I believe Diamonds has watched at least some anime in her time (I believe she is a Sailor Moon fan, or at least was when younger!)
As for my money, my favorite anime is Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt. I don't think Diamonds is familiar, and I'm not sure if it would be her cup of tea though. It's a VERY vulgar, crass and crude comedy anime with strong Western influences, about two nasty, horrible and hilarious angels, the titular Panty and Stocking. It is kind of like a gross parody of a lot of magical girl anime to me, and it's awesome. 030

Anyway, I chose Rarity as Panty and Applejack as Stocking, mostly for Rarijack and because Twilight as Stocking would be too obvious.
I really do hope this dabble in different art style looks good, it was fun to draw. I really do hope Diamonds likes it! I truly hope so anyway!
